Tomorrow is a special day

It is the day that Isabelle's law comes into place.
After endless courage, from her mummy, daddy, and siblings.
A few days ago Belle's mummy posted this on her blog CLICK
Child car seat rules to honour Isabelle

February 19, 2010
As a lasting memorial to Isabelle Broadhead's all-too-brief life, new child restraint laws for cars in NSW will come into effect next month.
The new rules will mean children have to be strapped into special restraints until they are seven years old.

The regulations aim to reduce injuries caused by letting children use adult seatbelts too soon.
Three-year-old Isabelle died after an accident in 2006 that occurred while she was using a booster seat and an adult seatbelt in a car travelling just 40km/h near Wollongong.

Since then her parents, Danielle and Noel Broadhead, have been campaigning for better regulations to keep children safe
The new rules that come into operation in NSW on March 1 - officially known as the Road Amendment (Isabelle Broadhead Child Restraint Measures) - were signed off by NSW Governor Marie Bashir this week.

The rules require children to be strapped into a rear-facing restraint until they are six months old, a child seat until they are four, and a booster seat until they are seven.

At present only children up to the age of one have to travel in approved baby capsules.

NSW Transport and Roads Minister David Campbell said the Broadhead's story was a sad one but what they have achieved for their daughter and for other children was something they should be proud of.
"Their effort and hard work is inspiration to us all," Mr Campbell said on Friday.

About 10 children aged under seven are killed in car crashes and about 480 are injured across the state each year, Mr Campbell says.

"National statistics are horrific with up to 80 children killed and almost 4000 injured each year," he said.

Information on the new requirements can be found on the Roads and Traffic Authority website - www.rta.nsw.gov.au.

Thankyou Danielle, Noel, Maddy, Mason and Oliver for Sharing Belle with us. Thank you for fighting to make other children safer in cars. thank you for your endless bravery and courage.

A touch of Pink.

Today Marks the day, three years ago that Ava Florence Beth Rosemeyer, got her wings.

While Ava may not be here anymore in the Physical sense. She lives on in the lives of so many people.
In the three short years she was here, and the three long years she has been gone, she has touched. changed. altered. the lives of so many.
I have been reading her mummy Sheye's blog for the last two years. and in those two years my life has been changed.
Sheyes words, her Photographs, her memories. are inspiring.
Even on a struggly day, reading Sheyes words, puts everything into perspective, and reminds me to live my life to the fullest.
Thank you Sheye, Crayton, Luca, Mason and Ivy for sharing your lives with us. Thank you for sharing your daughter, your sister, your angel, your Super Princess, your AVA.

This is a quote that really inspires me.
"What has become clear to me though is that you can plan and hope all you want, you can imagine and presume and expect life to go a certain way but really, there is no watertight guarantee. All the days are “normal”. The happy ones, the sick ones, the bored ones, the tragic ones. I am no expert, I have less clarity than the average person but what I have found, because of One Normal Day, is this:
Live each day, every single day, with the understanding that one does not necessarily lead into the other. Hug your family. Tight. Put aside What Does Not Matter. Tomorrow could be a completely new kind of normal.”

The Big Boys

I cant forget the big boys. Ashley and Kristian. <3
So here are the handsome boys...
ASHLEY

Ash would have been 7 at the time of this photo.
He is wise beyond his years, he had the ability to make me smile and feel better no matter what was wrong, and could ALWAYS tell when someone was upset.
He is just a little bit of amazing,

Ash wasn't photographed as much as the others because from the time I started looking after them he was at school lots.

This is Ash pulling a "stupid" face as he so nicely put it.
Usually when the camera was on him he would whip out a silly face.

KRISTIAN

Kristian is such a sensitive boy, hates seeing someone else upset.
He always makes me smile.
I love this photo because it shows him being him

I love this one because it shows how much he cares for his brothers
He always wanted them included in any way possible.

They are amazing boys, and I feel lucky to be referred to as their Big sister.
Even though Krisitian once told me "Youre as big as a bottom Emma" - I didn't quite know how to take it.

and a piece of Reece

After going through my photos of the  boys I could not resit posting photos of Reece.
Even as a 1 year old he has the biggest personality.
Breaks my heart I wont get to see him grow up into a charming toddler. Ill have to make the most of my visits.
Love you Reecey

his eyes are the deepest brown, deep enough to drown in. This photo was taken just after we arrived at the park.

Checking to make sure someone is following him, while he crawls away with his food

Laughing. just after crying.

Finding something amusing. I love how he covers his mouth when he does his belly laugh

a little bit of Lachie

I have been in the new place for just over a week, although i am only just surviving the heat, Ollie the bunny has been living in the bath, and loves playing in the puddle of water.

It has been just over a month since i have seen the boys, and i miss them terribly, On arrival to Forbes however in the letterbox there was a lovely surprise in the form of a red envelope.-A Christmas card, knowing it would arrive in January but wanting to surprise me, on the front was the newest Christmas photo of the boys. I also learnt that they are expecting a new baby brother or sister sometime this year. I cant wait to meet and photograph the newest bundle of joy.

I have also decided with each blog i will add a photo. or two of the boys and a little bit of their quirkiness.

so with this post. I present to you. Mr Chicken Face Lachie...

In this one Lachie had picked a flower for me and i put it behind my ear so i wouldn't destroy it while pushing them on the swing. He ran off and picked another so he could have one the same as me. this was snapped just before we 'flew' to chocolate world to fight the chocolate monsters.

Here Lachie was meant to be 'helping' me clean out the textas and pencils boxes, instead he decided it was too hot to help clean. I guess it was the perfect time to pull silly faces though.

And here he is... "being silly" just before he threw his mat at me.
Even when he tries to get me to use me "angry voice" which never ever got used. he still manages to look super cute.
(all the boys were on a mission to hear my angry voice, because they had never heard it, and before i "swapped houses" they wanted to hear it... because as Mr Kristian says "its not fair")
