Beyond Amazing

This girl is beyond amazing, she is always always there, even though we now live hours and hours apart
We have so many memories, it would probably take a lifetime to write them all down.
Words cannot describe how much she means to me.
I love you to the moon and back Danni

A birthday fit for a princess

Today marks the day that 9 years ago, a princess was born.
Today also marks the day that an angel's family has to celebrate a birthday without their little girl
This will be the 5th birthday they have had to spend without her.
Time has not made this any easier
Time has not healed any wounds.
The wounds are still open
The hearts are still broken
They are left to wonder about the should have beens and the whats.
They are left to wonder about the birthday their little girl would have wanted. The cake she would pick out.
The games that would have been played, the presents given and recieved.
The excited squeals. The laughter. The smiles. The hugs. The kisses.
The family. The friends. The LOVE.
Today there will be no party
There will be missing. There will be tears. There will be grieving.
But this is what life is like without Haylee,

We do and we can however celebrate her short but wonderful life
A life full of love and happiness
A life of a girl so treasured and so loved.
We celebrate all that Haylee was and still is.
We celebrate the fact that Haylee was here.
We celebrate the fact we got to have her for 4 wonderful years.
We celebrate the fact we got to know her love.
We celebrate how loved she was and still is.

We celebrate Haylee.

Happy Heavenly Birthday BabyGirl

Haylee "Baby Girl" Mazzella

Today..... in America is the 4th angelversary for Haylee "Baby Girl" Mazzella.
In Australia, her angelversary was yesterday.

A bit of Haylee's story.

Haylee Danyelle Mazzella was born 13-7-01 to Tommy & Sonya Mazzella, in Louisiana. She was special from that first moment...One of the most wonderful things about Haylee was that she was always, always, always smiling! She was such a sweet little girl; no one ever saw her be mean to anybody. She loved everybody; she adored her family; she loved animals. She was the most beautiful child we have ever seen!

Haylee drowned on 3-6-06 at a barbeque that some relatives were having. At a little after 4:00 p.m., Haylee's mommy told Haylee it was time to get out of the pool as her little brother needed to have his diaper and wet clothes changed for the ride home. Haylee begged for just 10 more minutes of swimming, and her step-grandmother said she would watch her. Haylee's mommy reluctantly said yes and went into the house. She was gone less than 10 minutes. In that short time, Haylee's step-grandmother decided to go into the house as well, and she left Haylee unsupervised in the swimming pool. Haylee's mommy started hearing people yelling "Call 911!" & came back outside, thinking someone had hurt their foot or some other minor thing. Instead she saw her 4 year old daughter laying on the ground having CPR done on her. She was lifeless. Paramedics rushed her to the hospital but it was too late... Baby Girl had been under the water for too long & she just didn't have the strength to come back & stay here where she belongs. She was only 4 years old and would have turned five in a little over a month.

Four Years

A week ago. on the 13th of April 2010. Marked the day that 4 years ago Isabelle became an angel.
It was that day, that her families world stopped turning, and began to turn in a completely different direction.
It was that day that their lives changed forever.
Since she has been missing. gone. Isabelle has done amazing things, she has saved many childrens lives by guiding her parents, giving them strength to speak out and change the way people think. change the laws.

Isabelle lives on in the lives of so many that never had the privilage of meeting her. And for many years, people, complete strangers will think of her.
She is never far from my thoughts or my heart
Thank you Danielle, Noel, Maddy, Mason. Oliver, and bubba for sharing your daughter. your sister. and your life with us.
Thank you for the gift of Belle

♥ four years of tears, four years of missing, four years of wishing, four years without Isabelle ♥

♥ I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and the days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have is memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in.my heart ♥.

Tomorrow is a special day

It is the day that Isabelle's law comes into place.
After endless courage, from her mummy, daddy, and siblings.
A few days ago Belle's mummy posted this on her blog CLICK
Child car seat rules to honour Isabelle

February 19, 2010
As a lasting memorial to Isabelle Broadhead's all-too-brief life, new child restraint laws for cars in NSW will come into effect next month.
The new rules will mean children have to be strapped into special restraints until they are seven years old.

The regulations aim to reduce injuries caused by letting children use adult seatbelts too soon.
Three-year-old Isabelle died after an accident in 2006 that occurred while she was using a booster seat and an adult seatbelt in a car travelling just 40km/h near Wollongong.

Since then her parents, Danielle and Noel Broadhead, have been campaigning for better regulations to keep children safe
The new rules that come into operation in NSW on March 1 - officially known as the Road Amendment (Isabelle Broadhead Child Restraint Measures) - were signed off by NSW Governor Marie Bashir this week.

The rules require children to be strapped into a rear-facing restraint until they are six months old, a child seat until they are four, and a booster seat until they are seven.

At present only children up to the age of one have to travel in approved baby capsules.

NSW Transport and Roads Minister David Campbell said the Broadhead's story was a sad one but what they have achieved for their daughter and for other children was something they should be proud of.
"Their effort and hard work is inspiration to us all," Mr Campbell said on Friday.

About 10 children aged under seven are killed in car crashes and about 480 are injured across the state each year, Mr Campbell says.

"National statistics are horrific with up to 80 children killed and almost 4000 injured each year," he said.

Information on the new requirements can be found on the Roads and Traffic Authority website - www.rta.nsw.gov.au.

Thankyou Danielle, Noel, Maddy, Mason and Oliver for Sharing Belle with us. Thank you for fighting to make other children safer in cars. thank you for your endless bravery and courage.

A touch of Pink.

Today Marks the day, three years ago that Ava Florence Beth Rosemeyer, got her wings.

While Ava may not be here anymore in the Physical sense. She lives on in the lives of so many people.
In the three short years she was here, and the three long years she has been gone, she has touched. changed. altered. the lives of so many.
I have been reading her mummy Sheye's blog for the last two years. and in those two years my life has been changed.
Sheyes words, her Photographs, her memories. are inspiring.
Even on a struggly day, reading Sheyes words, puts everything into perspective, and reminds me to live my life to the fullest.
Thank you Sheye, Crayton, Luca, Mason and Ivy for sharing your lives with us. Thank you for sharing your daughter, your sister, your angel, your Super Princess, your AVA.

This is a quote that really inspires me.
"What has become clear to me though is that you can plan and hope all you want, you can imagine and presume and expect life to go a certain way but really, there is no watertight guarantee. All the days are “normal”. The happy ones, the sick ones, the bored ones, the tragic ones. I am no expert, I have less clarity than the average person but what I have found, because of One Normal Day, is this:
Live each day, every single day, with the understanding that one does not necessarily lead into the other. Hug your family. Tight. Put aside What Does Not Matter. Tomorrow could be a completely new kind of normal.”

The Big Boys

I cant forget the big boys. Ashley and Kristian. <3
So here are the handsome boys...
ASHLEY

Ash would have been 7 at the time of this photo.
He is wise beyond his years, he had the ability to make me smile and feel better no matter what was wrong, and could ALWAYS tell when someone was upset.
He is just a little bit of amazing,

Ash wasn't photographed as much as the others because from the time I started looking after them he was at school lots.

This is Ash pulling a "stupid" face as he so nicely put it.
Usually when the camera was on him he would whip out a silly face.

KRISTIAN

Kristian is such a sensitive boy, hates seeing someone else upset.
He always makes me smile.
I love this photo because it shows him being him

I love this one because it shows how much he cares for his brothers
He always wanted them included in any way possible.

They are amazing boys, and I feel lucky to be referred to as their Big sister.
Even though Krisitian once told me "Youre as big as a bottom Emma" - I didn't quite know how to take it.
